Handset Troubleshooting Tips
Having audio problems? Replacing your phone's handset and/or handset cord may be the solution. Before you order, we offer a few troubleshooting tips:
- Borrow a handset from a working telephone of the same model and plug it in to the handset cord on your telephone. If that solves the problem, replace your handset. Still not working?
- Replace the original handset. Borrow the handset cord from that working telephone and replace your handset cord with it. If that solves the problem, replace your handset cord - please call 800 768-9332 for assistance. Still not working?
- Swap both the handset and handset cord from your phone with those from the working telephone. If that solves the problem, replace your handset and handset cord (all handsets from handsetplace.com include a new handset cord). Still not working?
The problem is not related to the handset. Have your phone repaired by a reputable facility such as that run by our partner, Main Resource, Inc. Or consider purchasing a refurbished telephone with one-year warranty, also from Main Resource, Inc.
